Dunbury School rated 'Good' in all areas

Ben Barker, Headteacher of the Dunbury Church of England Academy was delighted to share the outcomes of the recent Ofsted and SIAMS inspections which rated Dunbury 'Good' in all areas.

Both inspectors were particularly impressed by the "delightful" children at Dunbury.  In a letter to parents, Mr Barker said:

"I would like to personally thank the children for their gentle, calm but enthusiastic
behaviour, showing our school as it really is. I would also like to thank those parents who took the
time to share their views with the inspectors, both online and in person. We are fortunate to have
such a supportive community, especially with so many parents volunteering to help run or coordinate
activities or hear readers in school, and importantly, in supporting your children’s learning
at home. Together we make this school good.
I would also like to thank our staff, who have worked tirelessly to achieve this result. We will
continue to strive to be the best we can be and fly higher still. Together, let’s see where we can take
our lovely school next!"
