Running for Charity
Our very own Dan Parker, Finance Controller in the central office, took to the streets on Sunday 22nd October to take part in the Great South Run, which he managed to complete in just over 2 hours. It was still quite windy out on the course with the remnants of Storm Brian but certainly much improved from the Saturday when events planned for that day were cancelled.
While he was very pleased with his time, even better news was that he managed to raise over £500 for Campaign Against Living Miserably, through sponsorship thanks to the kind support of friends and family.
The Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) is an award-winning charity dedicated to preventing male suicide, the single biggest killer of men under the age of 45 in the UK. For more information about this charity see their website.
