Sue is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years' experience in finance, governance, risk management and strategic leadership across the charitable sector. She began her career in audit, advising charities, professional bodies, trusts and academy trusts on financial management, governance and regulatory compliance.

Sue spent 15 years as Director of Finance and Resources at Dorset Wildlife Trust, where she was a member of the senior leadership team, Company Secretary and a director of the Trust's trading subsidiary. Working closely with trustees throughout this period, she developed extensive experience of financial oversight, strategic planning, risk management and corporate governance.

Her expertise includes financial planning and monitoring, internal controls, regulatory compliance and board assurance. Sue brings significant finance, risk and governance expertise to the Board, together with experience of supporting organisations that serve communities across Dorset and Wiltshire.
